    Hi all,

    So I finally went to my carrier in order to remove the "BlackBerry option" from my plan that I was carrying over from my legacy device. I knew that it isn't needed anymore with BB10 but I didn't find the time to actually take action.

    Now that I've removed the option from my plan something unexpected has happened.
    Suddenly the small BlackBerry icon next to the signal indicator has disappeared and BBM doesn't work anymore. How can that happen?

    Everything else (e-mail, whatsapp, internet) works properly and my colleague who is on the same plan with the same carrier never had this issue, also without the BlackBerry plan, which he never had in the first place.

    I have already rebooted the device several times with no effect on this.
    Do I simply have to wait or can I do anything?

    I find this a bit strange since I always thought that the BlackBerry option wouldn't have any effect on my BB10 usage.

    Any help is appreciated

    What network are you on? I know on my netwrok I have to remove the password for my Internet to work

    Ok the case is resolved. I just had to wait for about an hour. All BlackBerry services seem to be working again.
