    Hello:

My phone used to have version 10.3.2.2226 then switched to 10.3.2.440 and now is asking me to "upgrade" to 10.3.2226

The 10.3.2.440 has "OS version" 10.3.2.680
The 10.3.2.2226 has an "OS version" 10.3.2.2339

Which one is better? I am in Mexico... Any clues? Anybody that "really" knows about it?

I guess I can only speak about the O/S and my Z30. The latest O/S has worked quite a bit better than .440. I am happy with 10.3.2.2339.

Hopefully someone with a Passport can advise of his /her findings.

10.3.2.2339/680 are the actual OS versions while .440/2226 is just the package/release.

.2339 is higher than .680 and I just refuse to believe you had a phone downgrade itself. Updates DO NOT work like that. The device checks the available software against the one it has and only downloads if it finds new stuff.

So if you now have 10.3.2.440, you didn't have 10.3.2.2226 to begin with.

I'm on .2226 and it seems very stable for me. I've only had my Passport about two weeks, but I haven't experienced any issues so far.

I am not an expert on these... maybe, and just a maybe, the installation was not well made... after it, the phone had some problems, so I was worried on going to 10.3.2.2226.
Your explanation was very good, and I will go ahead to upgrade...

Botched installs do happen. I am yet to find one that messes those numbers though.
