I have recently changed my 4G SIM and since last two days it drained my phone battery drastically.

Does anyone know the cause for it?

Try updating your phone to the latest OS, if you already have the latest version, I'm sorry to tell you this but I think that you have another bad Sim card. Sometimes a bad Sim card can use to much CPU draining the battery, so you might have to ask your service provider for another one. But before you do that, check that none of your apps are not running in the background, only charge your battery when it's at 25% or below, turn your screen brightness down and mute the volume. If none of that works, then you should either consider changing the battery, or if that's to much of a hassle, get a new phone.

Are you sure it's the SIM? Can you post a screenshot of the battery tab of Device monitor (with the "current" setting)?
