The ShopBlackBerry sale on BlackBerry 10 phones that was just launched is proving too tempting for me.

I love BlackBerry devices but am I being silly?

I'm about to pull the trigger on:

- getting an new unlocked Q10 for $199 (saving $200 on a classic Blackberry qwerty keyboard and one handed use)

- picking up an new unlocked Z30 for $299 (saving another $200 on the awesome virtual keyboard and big screen).

The Q10 and Z30 will compliment my daily driver Passport mini-computer. A great BlackBerry trifecta!

I figured the Q10 would serve me better than the classic because it is smaller and just the right compliment to the Passport!

Lol yes the Q10 is great, especially at $199! I'll use it during working out, fishing trips and other activities where I know I won't miss a bigger screen and Id like a more compact device to keep in touch.

Yup, the smoothness of 10.3 and the innovative features of the Passport has really renewed my love for BlackBerry. John Chen's steady leadership style is also reassuring.

I was eyeing the Classic as well. But the Q10's smaller size can actually be convenient at times and the $199 price is just too good to pass up.

What are you rocking now? The Passport is great and at these sale prices so are the Q10 and Z30! You really can't go wrong. There's a strong use case for all three.

I guess it's all relative. I plan on them lasting a long time so it comes down to a couple bucks a day over the life of the devices. We all have our weaknesses!

Are you going to have multiple lines or just swap SIMs constantly? If you do the latter, will your hub automatically update with what you did on the previous phone when you switch back and forth?

Outdated in terms of specs? They kinda already are in that respect. But I'm not buying them to be on the leading edge of specs.

I'll enjoy the Q10 and Z30 for what they are and also 10.3.1 will run smoothly on them, that's what matters to me right now.

I figure it'll be a while before BlackBerry releases updated versions of the Q10 and Z30, in the mean time I will enjoy them.

I will swap out the sims when I want to make phone calls. I'm not too worried what gets copied over in the hub cuz the majority of my info/data is in the cloud. Just have to switch over my Bbm and whatsapp profiles when switching phones.

I'm rocking a Q10, and have been waiting for Shopbb to restock thier passports so I can order one.

Now with the sale going on, i've already ordered. Z30 (always wanted the big screen) and still waiting for more passports so I can order one of those also.

I ordered a q10 yesterday, got order confirmation right away, and today afternoon I got the shipping confirmation, scheduled for delivery Tuesday!!!!

[EDIT] FYI, I did 2 day shipping, item is being shipped to California US
