    Hi everyone,

    I have a new PP and I've synched all the data, apps, photos from my old device just fine. When I took the sim out of my old PP and put it into my new one, the new device doesn't recognize the sim. Any reason why?

    The old device was locked through my carrier, and I'm using that sim card.

    The old device is out of the question since we are only talking about the new one. Nonetheless, is the new device locked to other carrier? If it's not, then I suggest trying out different SIMs to be sure. If it still doesn't work then you might want to get it replaced.
