Have had mixed reaction, fianc� asked if it was a calculator, then told me I have a phone problem(I do).
When I took it to the att store for new sim, had every rep come over, all wanted to look and try it, most were impressed but mentioned that its hard to hold.

Two ATT guys in the store were ogling the device. One new guy was all about it, asked to handle it (very polite with it). The other was reminiscing about all of the old BlackBerry phones he had in the past (quite a few up to the 9900, now had HTC one). He commented that when ATT releases the passport that he night very well be carrying one as he was so impressed. Both worked there, neither carried BlackBerry phones currently, and both were really jazzed on the device.

Went on a date tonight. Know the girl well enough to joke. She found the phone kind of comically large. It barely fits in my jean back pocket, height-wise. At dinner, had to set it on the table (luckily not a formal dinner). For dates or social appearances, I'll need a different phone. Maybe the classic.

Yeah how many passport owner wanna do an experiment of the nature? Cover up BlackBerry identification and tell people it's a new Apple prototype of next Gen device...then listen to reactions.

When mine arrives...the wait is nothing but pure anticpation...I plan on going to the stores and kiosks pretending it is attached to the anti-theft cable and drawing a crowd with some subtle comments (not sure what yet), then walking away with it as if I just stole it.
