I am first time BlackBerry user and since yesterday trying to install files related to Google play store et al however I can't go beyond trying to login to Google id as it takes me to WiFi and saying no connectivity which actually is there as I can use it otherwise.

Appreciate any help.

Cobalt's file share:

Install and login with 4.3.3.
Install and register with 2.8.
Install Play Services v10.
Update 4.4.4 over 4.3.3 (but don't open).

Install Play Store v6 build2

Install whitelist 1.0.0.6.

If an app requires Google Play Services:
Download app with Cobalt's Play Store (but don't install).
Whitelist unpatched app.
Patch app on PC with Play Services Patcher 1.6 using defaults settings.

Install patched app.


If after all that, your app still won't work, then it's simply not compatible with BB10.

No. Snapchat doesn't work. Period.

I tried doing just as you suggested.

I have all files in phone and I tried to login with 4.3.3 but it keeps taking me back to start screen asking to login again and I have no idea if my earlier attempt was successful or not.

Pl suggest way forward.

There are regional restrictions on Google Play Store. You may need to find it elsewhere.

So I have the app apk and patcher on my Mac but as I move ahead to patch it, it does not show me any app

So do I need to also download something else?

Just try it out first on your phone without patching. If a dialogue box pops up saying you need Google Play Services just tap outside the box anywhere. If it doesn't work then you can try to patch it.

As Conite said above, you have to do it on a PC--mac won't do.
