Imagine the ability to display a mouse into the BlackBerry passport browser and control it through the keyboard as it will be possible with the trackpad on the BlackBerry Classic! I hope BlackBerry will allow this possibility in the upcoming 10.3.1

How to?

Triple tap on the keyboard and the mouse pops up . double tap while the mouse mode activated will allow to click on the object, right click function can be assignment to key like space bar. Another triple tap get it back in normal mode.

I had that dream, hope it will be true.

What do you think about ?

I like the idea of having a mouse pointer as an option for those that want it. Should be able to enable/disable it, though.

But honestly I doubt they'd do this because the average user would never discover this feature

A possible option could be to open the browser and hold down the 'm' key to activate the mouse.

I would like to see the passport keyboard used system wide eventually, so it could match the function of the old track pad (scrolling through screens and selecting app icons etc).

It's not necessary for me personally but it would be a great feature if implemented correctly.
