    Can anyone tell me if there is a tab for settings in the maps ap??? I can't see one and I'm trying to switch the view to satellite!! Is that possible with this phone or is what I see what I get!?!

    I'm not sure... but I think what you see is what you get. Download Google Maps! It apparently works flawlessly.

    There is no satellite view on the BlackBerry maps app.

    You should download Google maps. Everything works fine, you just can't login to your Google account if you have one. To get the file you can use Snap, Mobile1 market or apktrain.

    BTW, to get to the app settings: while you're in the app, swipe down from the top of the screen. This is the same for all native BB10 apps.

    You're still going to need a different map app for what you're looking for.

    Try Waze, which is available in BlackBerry world or through the android app store. It's very good too.

    G maps is also good but not as good for quickly navigating ( complicated UI)

    Is Waze in BB app world regional? It auto completes my search but returns no results in canada...
