It was always there, depending on whether or not you ever had it installed before, which most who cared actually did. However, it's now showing for ALL users no matter what the download history. Still tons of apps Amazon is hiding but hey, it's a start I suppose.

why are they hiding apps? I currently can't see netflix on my passport. I have snap installed and can get it there I guess but why doesn't the amazon app store have it?

It doesn't show up for me...

It only shows up because I had installed the app through Snap.

Once I delete the Snap version, the Amazon app store version disappears.

Amazon pulled a lot of apps that weren't optimized for a 1:1 screen ratio. I suppose they were trying to avoid conflicts with users who expected a perfect pre-10.3.1 experience out of them, knowing that it just wasn't going to end well.

Make sure you guys download the older version of the neflix as the newer version are known to not scale the picture properly in the passport's screen.

I'm using the app that I loaded onto my Passport via Snap when I first got it a couple of months ago and the scaling is awful. Too much is cropped in all directions; up, down, left, and right, even when I zoom out as much as I can. The new one couldn't possibly be any worse.

You need a SlimPort adapter such as this:

I have a newer version and it actually works better for me--before I would have the thick black bars on the top and bottom of the screen with no way to switch from widescreen to full screen basically. Now it does on its own and there's the "zoom" function that further adjusts the picture and also the search layout of the app while browsing. I downloaded mine from Snap though, don't know if the Amazon version is different...

Instead of the app that comes n goes, just go on a browser n go from there. Works fine.

It's the second highest production TV series at 90 million. It's second only to Game of Thrones.

Netflix is gone from Amazon again. I think that it shows up every time they release an update, and once they realize that BlackBerry has access to it, they disable it again.

Why don't you use 1mobile.com? I've been using it even with my Z10 and now with Passport, works perfectly. I do recommend it instead of Amazon's.

You need 10.3.1 OS to be able to fix the aspect ratio issue.
