Nice app. Is there a way to have it download the maps to the SD card though? I didn't see an option to do this.

After installing app and downloading maps (indonesia) it's stuck. Cannot see my map.

And when I want to contact app developer via BBW they bring me to this site:

Navfree, a native BlackBerry app is a good as HERE maps by nokia.-img_20150102_194347.png

Very nice app indeed, once you learn to get around its "different" UI. Almost as good as one my father bought on iTunes for 60 freaking dollars.

I have used both and NavFree is junk. First, it rarely even works to look up an address in offline mode.
    It often gives bad routes.
It will not default to north up.

So many issues. I have been meaning to write a review but haven't yet.

I keep a cheap Lunia around just for navigation

It doesn't work to type in a number most of the time. The app looks great but it's practically worthless.

I just downloaded the update. I will give it another chance. Perhaps they have improved some of the issues.

For me, on the main page, aligned right there is +, -, then 3 horizontal bars. The 3 horizontal bars opens a menu, where I can select 'upgrade' to download free openstreetmaps.

I have no problems, but usually type in a street address, or postcode, as well as a number. That is in the UK though, I suppose in other countries an address might just be a number.

Have a look at navfree's website to see how they plan to make money. Its all about gathering data from you to then advertise to you. I would prefer a paid for service given the choice...
