Search for SecureX or Pattern Lock Pro, haven't tried any of those though.

securex works now; previously didn't work consistently - now with restart it works every time after update posted today actually 9/22. i customized mine to have special appearance and looks cool- using the silver edition passport..my old avatar shows storm :-)
I've downloaded Securex but still it does not have pattern lock from the beginning from bootup to lock screen. Am I missing something? I just want to unlock the device using pattern instead of keying the code. Anyway to solve this?

My bad. I've tried again with the settings and it finally shown me the expected result I wanted. Thanks for all the sharing.

You can also use picture password if you like. Can't you just 'swipe up' from those lock apps?
Without pattern lock, I need to keyin pin numer everytime I swipe up. If I don't setup pin, the buttons will accidentally dial out and quite inconvenient.

I think Picture lock is pretty cool. Better than the pattern lock.
I don't use swipe up to unlock but unlock by keeping "U" key pressed instead.
If you don't like it, you can try PocketSafe which stops such accidental presses. http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/59967056

No need to press and hold "U" just press once.
Or you can also press "U" once then press enter key quickly to bring up lock screen.
This will save you time by avoiding swipe up to go to lock screen (picture pasword).

You can always disable swipe to wake to avoid accidental dialing etc.
Then to unlock simply press "U" then press Enter key quickly to bring up lock screen.

Why bother using Pattern Lock when there is Picture Lock integrated!?

for me to much time need to unlock with Picture lock. On Android, pattern lock is much faster, or finger scan like on S6 or iphone. And picture lock lag when you turn on screen.
I still prefer picture password over pattern lock because it's safer to use even in public.
