Why a square screen it is really ugly ! Makes the phone extremely uncomfortable to type on one handed ! I can't see the leaked device be the final one if it's meant for the crowd ! But could it be this device is for the medical field? I remember a post saying it could be for doctors and sergeants to watch xray images etc.?

A pixel has 3 colors in it red blue and green so each pixel have 3 color dots with variable brightness per color so you end up with over 16 million color combinations per pixel

This sounds so unbelievably high tech! Luckily they didn't make it an amoled screen.... with up to 6 sub pixel per pixel...

    Interesting. Thanks for the info.

So if you zoomed in enough would you be able to see each of those dots?

It's not a lot by width but that diagonal measurement, it's huge for a phone. Maybe I'm just nit picking but I wish it still had the original 5" screen. I want a keyboard phablet so bad

Posted via CB10 via My Q10
I agree. If they reduce the screen to 4.2 inch, I may not buy it. My experience was leaving an S3 for the Z10 and loving the Z10, but missing the screen real estate on the slightly larger S3, then moving from the Z10 and loving the additional screen real estate on the Z30. I love physical keyboard phones, but I surf the mobile web and consume a lot of media (video and ebooks). If the Windermere doesn't have the giant screen, well, I'll play with it, but it just won't work out as a daily driver...

A moonroof is a type of sunroof.

Sunroof is generally metal or fiberglass and slides or pushes up manually (sometimes aftermarket). A Moonroof is a glass sunroof that is controlled electrically.

Great love your opinions but commenting on a device that hasn't even been released yet is way premature. Who knows it may be your daily driver after all.

There is no way of knowing which one is correct for now. BlackBerry has barely even acknowledged the existence of the device.

BlackBerry acknowledged it's existence and released details regarding the screen size on their site for developers. 1440x1440 display at 453ppi, this works out to 4.5in.

N4BB Reported the Screen as "4+" inches in their most recent report.

CrackBerry has stated it to be 4.5" (Which is correct)

This is what the OP is discussing.

The screen size is 4.5" CONFIRMED. Not "4+" "

N4BBs information is conflicting with the actual device information. CrackBerry is, and has been correct.

Is that clearer to you now?

You can be blind, n4bb later corrected their information saying that 480 was dpi and 450 ppi they don't need to correct from 4.2 to 4.5 only for ignorant I guess, there is no way that 1440x1440 at 450ppi could be other than 4.5, so when they corrected ppi, it was obvious they refer to a 4.5 in screen, crackberry source is n4BB, they don't get leaks anymore, and I need Miracast in my z10 Bla1ze!!!

    N4BB says that it will have a 4.2" screen 1440x1440 with 480ppi

Crackberry says that it will have a 4.5" screen 1440x1440. Which would translate into 450ppi.

Who is the right one? I hope BlackBerry didn't decide to make the screen smaller. That would mean it would only be about a 1" bigger than the Q10 diagonally. If you listen to CrackBerry it would be 1.4" bigger than the Q which I would prefer

What do you guys think. Which one is right?

Honestly you're digging into this far too deeply. Whatever happened to really enjoying your current device until an official product announcement of its specs?

I for one, will be happy if it's even 4", 4.5" is definitely to big for 1:1 and will make the phone hard to use with one hand.
