Too many assumptions wait for the final product.

It's super ugly and good looking at the same time. I know i won't be buying it since i've left physical keyboard and i can't go back. But finally it seems that blackberry are boosting the specs of their phones. hope there's an all-touch device that comes out with some great specs. I really really hope that this phone isn't a flop!

    Some points to highlight:

1- BlackBerry with the leadership of Mr. Chen is aware of their situation that they can't be envied for
2- BlackBerry is trying to move forward, it would not be logical if they choose to shock the world with a device with 'ugly' looking device
3- the rumoured specs indicates a step forward into the competition. 3 gigs of RAM(!?)
4- the also rumoured capacitive touch screen is something revolutionary. And that's what BlackBerry needs to be special (innovation)
5- it's too early to judge. This might not be the final look of the device

    N4BB Releases Purported Q30 (WINDERMERE) Images!-blackberry-windemere.jpeg

This looks better, though don't know if it's the real thing.

Edit: Actually I like it a lot more than the other pics.

Edit 2: Crap, it's just a stupid render. So still fugly as hell if it remains that way imo

Now THIS is interesting. I like this a lot and the keyboard looks like it's better suited for gestures.

Is this you're render or did you find this somewhere?

Now if they would remove the the rubber keyboard covers you would get an even better idea of how it looks. Great big screen better keyboard, people say that you you'll never get all touch phone users to switch to a keyboard phone but I've never used a keyboard phone but I'd switch to this one.

Awesome! I hope it's a legitimate leak of the real thing. If this IS the windermere I can see why those who have seen it, like Blaze, seem to imply the windermere might be a game changer.

Which picture has the rubber keyboard covers are you referring to? The N4BB picture or this new picture with the silverish colored keys?

As far as I understood, the device is reported to have a physical keyboard that you can swipe words with acting like the virtual keyboard

Any one with eyes can see that these are rubber covers that are hiding the real keyboard and yes I am taking about the updated pictures they are white not silver and have no symbols on them.

@menshawy - I think the confusion arose from your post stating a capacitative touch screen, rather than the keyboard...

That is the point obviously I don't really know but I think the new keyboard is going to be a touch sensitive and pressure sensitive and therefore it will be able to change its symbols depending what you're doing. The keyboard is the innovative technology and therefore they are taking grate pains to keep that technology under wraps.

Got it. You're right. On my Q10 on the Crackberry app the pictures aren't very clear but viewing on my desktop it clearly is a white cover over the keyboard.
