Last night I switched carriers from ATT to TMobile. As soon as I popped my SIM card in, a new status icon popped up on Passport screen. I have attached a photo.

It is the icon all the way to the left. "Phone with Wifi." I've never had that with ATT.

I have been trying to get that to work, but seems too much hassle with downgrading to lower OS. In the meantime I am suspecting it is contributing to draining the battery. No way to get rid of it either, I think.

Seems to me I read here on CB months ago that wifi calling was coming to At&t by end of 2015. But I haven't heard anything since. I hope that it will happen. I don't know if anyone else remembers seeing some about this.

there is a requirement that you add emergency information to your TMobile account. You can do that on-line.
There is also an APK that allows you to turn on and off the wifi dialing and set your preference as to which to prioritize or not to use wifi dialing whatsoever. When I trvasle outside the country, this is a really nice feature to have. I can call home and talk for as long as I want.

I think the last OS with WiFi calling working was 2813.
