My PP Storage is suddenly almost full, how can I free up space?-screen-shot-2015-04-03-16.55.20.jpg

This morning I was very happy to receive the OTA update OS 10.3.1.2576. Afternoon I back home and used wifi to install Bittorrent Sync from SNAP and also connected to BB Link. Out of sudden, BB Hub gave a warning: Storage is low. Surprisingly the System occupies almost 27GB of storage (previously I can remember the unused storage is around 20GB). Tried hard reset twice and also uninstalled the Bittorent Sync App. Nothing helps. Showed in the above screenshot - Media uses up to 19.9GB. Very strange, I only have less 200 pics in the Album (now also can't access), no videos, no musics. That Bittorent Sync folder was only 600MB only, also deleted.
Now I am backing up and try to do restore.
If anyone has any ideas about it, pls advise before I do a swipe ( I really don't want to setup the device again)

    Thx & Rgds

Finally found the the problem. One picture file synced by BitTorrent Sync original size is only 180KB, but on the PP it became 19GB, OMG. Deleted it and everything is back to normal. Don't know why the single small picture could increase to 10,000,000 times bigger.

The 20GB used is in your media folder hiding somewhere because your torrent must have downloaded something in the background or even if it hasn't downloaded anything yet the torrent could have created a temporary file somewhere saying these memory slots are fully reserved for a future file to be downloaded.

The only way is fine that folder and delete it. It might not appeared in the form of a media file though.

The backup and restore solution isn't a bad way to go about it just as long as you don't backup the media part. Your settings should still be there after you restore your backup. Also save those 200 pics to your Macbook first to be safe.
