my Passport has always worked well - but in the last few days all emails that I write on same and hit SEND -- go to the Outbox...but never get sent and I always get the clock icon on the emails...

can anyone help me here...why would that begin to fail all of a sudden?

Seems like it can't reach your SMTP to send the email.

Double check if settings are right and (if there is one) IT adming can help.

Is this happening with every email account? If so are they all the same type (ie: Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, AOL, Comcast, etc)?

Does it happen on WiFi and Cell data?

I had some issues when upgrading to 10.3.2.2789 which caused me to have to delete all my emails and re-add them to my phone.

I've also seen it where my data connection was weird caused by my cell provider which fixed itself after I re-loaded the provisioning.

Easy solution and takes about 10 to 20 mins.....
Go into hub then tap the three dots
Select settings
Go to email accounts
Select the account you want to fix.
Then at the bottom select edit account
Then at the bottom tap the delete icon and delete the account.

Restart device

Then go into accounts and re add that email account.
