Way back someone showed photos of the phone after painting the Sim cover black. It looked like it came that way. I must say it looks better black than silver where it imitates a camera from the 1970s.

It ain't a camera! Photos are the last thing notable about it!

Congrats OP. What a relief it must be to finally receive it.
Just looking at your pics brings back fond memories of receiving mine a day or two after they were released/announced.
Enjoy... as someone said "showstopper"....so appropriate. While on a trip a couple months ago jaws dropped when 2 young men I was chatting with saw my PPSE. The expressions were priceless.

Hope you enjoy it for many years. The battery life is awesome.

Oh yes! Battery life is REALLY amazing! I never expected that. All day playing music, some whatsapp activity, SMS, normal talk time and at the end of the day it's still at 83%. Amazing!!

Crap! It's not even 2 weeks since I got it and today I noticed that the screen is slightly starting to lift at the top. All over the top, from corner to corner.

And I was treating it like a peace of jewelry. Damm!

Just got my new-to-me SE... the keyboard is different from my AT&T, and I do like it. Haven't "moved in" yet, but I do like it a lot.
Walked out of the room for A SECOND and the SE grabbed a smoke and some shades and started all the "selfie-stuff"...

There can be a slight rise of the screen in the top right corner. it can be pushed down. One user said they broke the screen pushing on it. One of mine has it and the other doesn't. Its a tight precise fit and the screen isnt moving or coming apart. Just a slight rise in the corner than can felt with a fingernail. Not really noticed.

Here are the pics. It was pretty difficult to capture it without a macro lens.

It's less than 1 mm lifted, not so obvious to sight, but you can clearly feel it when you swipe down with your finger. If it doesn't lift more, I can live with that. Althought is annoying to feel on the thumb, I hope it stays there.





You can see that on the top is almost 1 mm up the frame, and on the bottom is almost 1 mm below the frame.
