Love my passport it's the best phone I've had since 9700 but I'm so annoyed that every time it rings in my pocket it's goes silent and I don't know I'm receiving a call. It seems to happen when the screen is touched.
Please help

Turn it so it doesn't touch your leg...(face out)...It goes silent because it thinks you are answering it...
Is there anything else I can do so it doesn't do it at all

Apparently, this will be changed in version 10.3.1. Until then, you'll have to keep your hand out of your pocket, I guess.

I hope this is true, but where did u read this?

Or for the time being, disable the option touch to unlock, maybe that will do the trick.
Doesn't work at all...it's a really anoying bug...

Maybe turn off the option to flip to mute

Still doing it, this phone is perfect, got use to the size love it but can't answer my calls if it's in pocket!!!!!!!!!!!! Pointless 1st thing it is is a phone!!!!!!!

That's been the intended behaviour since 10.2.1 - if you haven't answered it, but want to silence your phone, you just tap on the screen. It will still keep ringing.
Yes, have 10.3.1 leak installed and see this got changed. Now it won't mute by touching screen.

I don't even have to touch the screen sometimes just movement or holding the phone makes it silent

I've realised I have only to touch the screen and the buttons

That's a feature on bb10

this doesn't happen with my Passport.
Although I always put it in my top pocket (been wearing shirts that have a top pocket since I got it haha).
The following will silence a call on Passport:
Touching screen
Touching keyboard
Vol up
Vol dn
Media
Maybe power
Low battery
Answer
Decline
A pillow
Crotch.
Pasaporte Pilipino.
I like the fact that I can silence my Z10 by touching the screen. It's quick and easy. Especially when you're sleeping and a call comes in that you don't want to answer.

Use the flip case?
Chill, baby!

I actually like this feature and use it often if I'm talking with someone in my office and my phone rings while it's on my desk. I can take a look at the caller and a quick tap silences the ring, and I don't have to cancel the call or send a message to the caller. A simple quick tap silences the ring. Of course, the same thing happens if I pull the phone out of my pocket as it's ringing, but I can then accept, reject or ignore the call as I choose.
tl;dr: it's a feature that some find useful but others may find annoying.
I like the idea of the feature but if it's in pocket it silences, I miss calls just think they could change something

Like just press lock button would be easy to silent but would get pressed in pocket

The same for any 10.2.1 BlackBerry 10 phone my Z10 has been doing it for a while. Drives me nuts
Z10
I hope that the 10.3.1 will fix that behaviour.

Do what I do:
I got me a blue tooth headphone with voice interaction. If that person calling you is in your contact list it tells you who it is and then it asks you "answer or ignore".
You can leave the phone in your pocket. :)
