Get an iMACK case for it. Its just a nicely textured backcover for ten bucks and pops on and off easily. You may not want to use all the time but it is nice to have for protecting the back of the phone.

Got the Passport today and I'm honestly blown away, after experiencing the Z10 and often wondering what the big deal about keyboard BlackBerry devices were I now understand. Plus thanks to my big hands it's a one handed device until I need to type for long peroids.

This is beautiful. Would highly recommend for anyone on the fence.

My Passport comes tomorrow - after months of debating, finally getting bored of my iPhone and looking at the PP I finally receive mine tomorrow.

I've ordered some screen protectors off Amazon but no case - is a case needed or is build quality good enough not to use one? I personally don't use a case for my 6+ and it is almost pristine.

What's first? What should I do the minute that Passport boots up and starts to rock and roll?

Depending on how you drop it, you may damage your phone. Like any other phones, it looks better naked. Had mine naked for about four months then bought a Ringke Fusion case for some protection.

I just ordered a Passport (white) and a Ringke Fusion case (smoked) to go with it. I like to use a case of some sort without adding bulk to PP's already rather substantial size, hope I picked wisely.

I have a clear Ringle case. It adds a little bit of bulk, but it has saved my PP from several drops and bumps. I would recommend.

I would say to get a case such as the Ringke Fusion Smoke Black.just to have on the side. Its less than 15 bucks but the phone is pretty durable and is made for wear and heavy use once u take it outside the box just set up emails, social media accounts (if you want) and get the Crackberry app of course oh and show it off to your friends !!! Enjoy

Could you please tell me why the phone's OS should be manually updated? What is the difference between the two OS's that you mentioned? And does the phone not update itself to the latest version upon booting up the phone for the first time? Sorry for so many questions, but I'm not tech savvy and plus I just ordered a BB PP Silver Edition, also waiting on its arrival. So excited. Thanks in advance.
