    Hi,

The best battery life I could have is about 20% of battery at the end of the day.

I have tried every autoloader since 10.3.1.2243, now I have 2582 and I always clean install (also wipe with S.I.C.) and never restored any backup.

Here are some picture of my phone today... less than 25 minutes of use! Wtf! I do not have any Android Application installed except Navfree, TD Canada Bank, RTC Mobile (bus schedule)

About accounts, there are 1 Facebook and 2 Gmail where one of them is used once every 3 months.

What is your sync interval set to? Even if you never use the account the BlackBerry will try to sync the accounts every 30 minutes by default. That Will be worsened if you are also synching contacts and calendar.

Even if it would sync about 15 times a day, a synchronization takes about 2-3 seconds, that wouldn't explain anything. I never changed the interval, nor I know how :P

Few hours later.. can't believe it my phone is so bad :'( I though it was a normal battery life at first until my girlfriend gets her BlackBerry Classic. She uses it more than I, she has more account and she can survive up to 2 full days....

Well if you would have taken the time to read the first post, you would have noticed the phone got wipe at least 6 times in at least 6 different versions of leak.

Does anyone know what I can do to get a warranty on this device if I bought the phone from someone I don't know?

    Thanks you

Ehh? There will never be any good enough reason to make me go get an iPhone. I hate those phones for many reasons.

Anyway, I love Blackberry development and that's what probably make me stick it the most.

Try OS 2576, it has great battery life. 2582 gave it terrible battery life!
And for your email accounts, do this

Is my Passport Battery broken? Baterry life has always been bad-img_20150327_092334.png
HuB->Settings->Email Accounts->click on your account->Edit account->Click on Advance->Scroll down and change everything to headers only!

James, reload your OS using BlackBerry link. Don't install any apps or restore any backup and see if your battery works better.

Call up BlackBerry Support @877-552-5532. They will be able to tell you if it is still under warranty. Follow the prompts in french as well.

James. Stop doing whatever you are doing and just do exactly what I said.
    Do not wipe
    Do not try a leak

    connect to BlackBerry link
    Do a device OS reload
Don't restore from a backup. Try the phone for a few hours and I bet your problem will be solved.

If you don't do EXACTLY what I wrote you won't solve your problem.
BlackBerry support is going to say EXACTLY the same thing that I said btw

It ain't your sync time frame. I get more than 24 hrs of life with heavy use, more emails, and default sync settings. Do like mdx said and reload the os using link.

    Hi,

Thanks for suggesting to reload the OS. But this is going to flash back an old version of BlackBerry OS, why would I want that and why would it helps? I am not against the suggestion but just wishing to know why would it be if some people has it released ota?

I have no idea where Telus Canada is in BlackBerry version but they must be far..

Today's use with Bluetooth deactivated the whole day.

So I have reinstalled from BlackBerry Link official version.. amazing, my watch gets drained within few hours now instead of 7 days. I had forgotten we had this bug in the past. Running old 10.3.1.2267 instead of 10.3.1.2582

This is clearly a hardware issue. Call up BlackBerry support right away. I am a heavy user and easily get a full 24 hours of use.

You should have just loaded 2576, or a new OS has been released, 27xx, try that.

I had Avery similar issue, loaded the new os, and everything was good for a few days, and then it went back to the same problem. I ended up loading a task manager, and killed off the running android processes. Now, my phone is getting more than 24 hours. Android apps were sucking all of my juice .

The only reason I stopped installing Android apps on my BB10 device. I install it on my Jolla, which runs android apps perfectly like how it runs on a normal android device. And there's an option to stop the android runtime to save battery but android apps on Jolla never drinks up battery like how it does on a BB10 device.

Turn off your wireless connection if you're not using them like NFC, BlueTooth and Wifi.

Also I don't understand your lowercase h+ network. I'm guessing you only have a voice only plan?

Its mostly any of the android app. I have changed the permission of all the android apps to not run when minimized. And the battery time has significantly improved . Snapshot attached for the permission for android apps.

It could be that your email accounts are syncing too frequently. Could also be that you have NFC, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi all on all the time by the looks of it.
