Hi.
I'm very new to BlackBerry OS. In fact the passport is my first blackberry device. I bought my PP a day ago and noticed the battery drains a littlebit too fast. The phone would get very hot too. I checked device monitor and nothing seems wrong but I can only get 16 hours from my phone and I only have1 gmail account sycing by interval. Is there anything I candoor I have gotmyself a lemon as my brother's PP has 3 push accounts and his does not run hot oranything

Try a hard reset, by holding the volume buttons in until you see the loading screen, and as its a new device it will take a couple day to seat in.

16 hours sounds good if you are a heavy user. Get us a screenshot of your device monitor battery stats.

Well it's not heavy usage if you ask me. I don't have any app installed. I just use the browser for like 15 minutes and everything goes south pretty quickly. How long does it usually take for a phone to settle down ?

I had it once that the Battery of the Passport gotten out of juice too fast. I restarted it and since then everything is working OK. Means I get two days at least out of a fully charged battery. I once had an app from the Amazon Store that constantly utilized the CPU - needless to say that it had a short life on my PP.

I will try resetting and everything. Will post updates later as of now. Anyone using 3G or HSPA+ for data and got the phone burning hot to the touch when using CB ? This morning I burned through 13% of battery power and burn 2 fingers trying to post a post to CB using the default Browser. This should not be right
