I don't know if it's possible but BlackBerry need to add new gestures or allow us to control swipes on the keyboard during the homescreen or in apps.

I really wish if it were possible to swipe and peek without touching the screen or zooming in on pdfs and pictures just like it's behavior in the browser. Just basically being able to mimic touch gestures if you weren't typing (since it'll probably interrupt or add swiped words)

Is there something I don't know or is that just how it is?

I was wondering the same thing. I would love to be able to close an app or get to the hub with the swipe up and to the right feature. Not so much a complaint as it is a curiosity. The have implemented the swipes in other ways, why not those.

I do not post a lot in here. I do read a lot of these so please! I know most of you think BlackBerry is dumping the os. This does put a damper on hopes for new things from them. I do not see the harm in talking about things that one might want/need. I enjoy these threads and the people that post in them. I do give up on thread when it turns negative and get way off topic because of it. :-(

O.P. Thank you for this one! I thought I was the only one wondering about this. The Passport is an amazing phone, phablet, small computer, BEAST! Whatever you want to call it and for me gets better everyday. So after that rant sorry O.P. And everyone else. Is this swipe on keyboard possible now or ever?
