I just bought a Samsung smart tv with Miracast capabilities, but when I tried to connect my passport with it, I just can't, it keeps connecting in WiFi direct mode and can't see my passport screen on the tv, any one has any idea why?

I don't have a Samsung TV but I know it works because I'm trying on a Samsung tv. Try on Samsung parameters to pair your phone.

I actually try it before on the demo tv and worked fine, I'll try on settings

I had to go in to the menu settings of the tv to the miracast option, or screen mirror, can't remember what it was called, then I searched from the passport in the settings>display>screen share option, it found the tv and when I connected to the tv from the phone an option popped up on tv asking to allow the phone.

I did this at my mother in laws place so I don't remember exactly how I did it, but now what I do remember is that it took some messing around to get it to work with a samsung tv.
