How much was it? And how's it working ? Any stuttering when displaying streaming video?

I have the Netgear PTV2000 and I'm afraid to say it does stutter a fair bit.

My WDTV doesn't stutter very often but quite often making the connection can be a little flaky.

And yes, both devices have the latest firmware.

It was $25.60 from Amazon ordered it July 4th or 5th it's working great so far. The Passport when I streamed a movie to Miracast got a bit warm it could've been because the movie American Sniper is long. There was no lag no stutter even after pausing the movie.

I watched a 45 minute show using it with my Q10 and the Q didn't even get warm.
I'm impressed thus far because I was using the hdmi cables before so I'll give it a few days to see how the Microsoft adaptor holds up before ordering two more, one for the bedroom and one for the basement.

I'd seen reviews on the netgear and was aware of the stuttering.

Also contrary to what I've read with the Microsoft adaptor you CAN do other things on the phone while the movie is streaming to the Tele. I'd read that what's on the phone at that time would mirror what's on the television screen. So even with my phones screen off the movie still plays which is a major plus!

For those of you with a Roku, I believe only the Roku 3 and Streaming Stick support Miracast. We have an older Roku 2 at home and it doesn't work.

The Microsoft wireless display adaptor is listed for about C$55 on Amazon. Grrr...

    Maybe I should check ebay.

Oh my I got mine from this seller on Amazon.

    Miracast dongle?-img_20150711_142732.jpg

Seller1ON1 has it for $30.51with Free shipping, they have a 5 Star rating and 97% positive feedback. That and the price was enough to tip the scales to make me order it.
If you trust the seller I'd check it out. The one I have came with everything in the above post, no damage wire wasnt twisted or anything. But I'm sure they'll vary by each order.

Guys, I have a chromecast version 2. The speakers are rubbish on my projector. My projector has no Audio out and there is no way of having the Audio come out of my bluetooth speakers as the audio is taken through HDMI along with picture. I only paid £20 for the Chromecast V2 so don't mind purchasing something else with which I can redirect the Audio. I've tried using "LocalCast" and playing Audio from source(phone) and having phone connected to Bluetooth speaker but haven't been successful. I use Passport SE, Classic, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, HTC One M8 and Iphone 6 Plus. Your help is greatly appreciated.
