Would it be worth the trouble of taking out the strip (sitting underneath the sim card cover) and sticking it back with some kind of adhesive/double sided tape?
Is the strip serving any purpose or it is just cosmetic?
Any useful help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Is it a necessity that you fiddle with that? I doubt anything added to a phone this small is cosmetic. I mean, doesn't it all serve a purpose? Does your sim not work??
If it's inside the phone, it probably serves a purpose. I wouldn't mess with it.

Does it really bother you that much? You can't even see it and I wouldn't suggest taking it off since it's RF shielding.

If I've understood you correctly, it's the actual antenna you are speaking of. So yeah, I would leave it there in its position. If you see that it is wearing off you should contact your reseller for a replacement or a refund.
