Hey guys. Had Mega Lite and Mega from YALP installed and neither will work. Also tried BBW Mega and it is broken too. Is it me or has service stopped? Could someone please provide me with a working link? Much appreciated,

Quite right. If you want to go to a Mega link you will have to do it via Kiwi, Fennec or some other android browser on your BB10 device.

When you say that Mega is dead, are you saying that website is dead altogether or it's dead for BB10 ?

Unfortunate. So how do we download files that require Mega? That seems to be quite a few of them.

Well, like I said, you can use an android browser on your BB10 device or you can download onto a PC and install (using Blend on your PC and File Manager on your BB10 device) as I usually do.

Mega (Beta) from Amazon App Store was working on my Passport last time I checked. I don't have it at hand, but will check and report back.

I can confirm Mega (beta) works on my Passport for accessing cloud files. Not sure if download links will direct you to the app, but give it a try: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RGQKYGQ...UvbUpU13486435

Hmnn - I can't get it to log in. It installs fine but then hangs on " Calculation encryption keys - Connecting to the server." I think I tried it ages ago from Amazon also and same thing.

Just use your PC and transfer via DropBox/Basket.

It's far easier than trying to get various Android apps to behave.

My Passport just came back from repair - (Thank God) but I've not tired the very NICE "Mega" app I got from BB World since I got the phone back, I have to go get a "gift card" and re-activate my Mega account. Are you saying the nice little app from "flying otter" just quit working?

Has anyone talked to Mega? Cause they are real open source, even offer command line script capability.

Moot question till I get by disability pittance and renew my Mega

AHA! There's the droid we're lookin' for Obie

Is the developer of the "flying otter" (NOT EXESSIVELY BLOATED) app on BB world available?

See, there's a REASON "apk" apps suddenly grew to several megabytes. It has to do with our dear Gew-Gul integration.

    [ - fun fact - ]

GSF dependent apps are a HUGE battery drain on the Passport. I've read that elsewhere here, and it was confirmed by the only Tech around here who even knew what a Blackberry Passport is. And I daresay the old fellow seemed honored to be allowed to work on it.

There's absolutely no need for GSF for anything. This is simply a matter of providing current Certs and the correct level of encryption client side.

I retired from IT 20 years ago because it'd gotten too toxic. But it looks like if Blackberry isn't going to support TRUE security anymore.

If help is needed to fix the correctly built MEGA App, please advise. I've been off the #~ command prompt a minute and cannot do this alone
