On the day of release we (me & 2 friends ) traveled 700 km and cross the borders to Dubai

We got three and we're all happy with our amazing Passport, but unfortunately yesterday one of my friends ------>>> can't say it

Maybe, 1st Passport Broken Screen :(-abaw_583110.jpeg

Actually the Passport isn't yet available in Saudi Arabia, so what do u think should he do and where could he found a replacement?

    [Updated]
(How?!) passport was on his T-shirt pocket, he lied down to pickup something from the ground, and passport fell down on asphalt (small stones were there too) ? by the way he estimated the elevation (height) was less than 50 cm

    [updated]: more photos

    [updated](functionality after accident)
He is saying the touch still work as it is, and screen still show every single pixel, but he can feel the broken glass while touching the screen

Sorry to hear this. I don't know if that's appropriate but can you tell in which scenario this happened? Just so everyone is aware.

I thought Corning Gozilla Glass 3 would make it more durable but it looks like it doesn't.

By the way, is it still usable?

Tell your friend to wait 2-3 months, so he can get a reasonably priced replacement screen off of eBay or Amazon.

Isn't there a Blackberry store in Dubai? You can cross that border to get it fix. Just make sure to bring your passport with you.

I don't think a screen protector will do anything other than keep the pieces together. It's about the impact and how much the glass flexes (which a flexible screen protector can't prevent).

The real question is,.. did be have the hard shell or any other type of surrounding case on it?

Perhaps put a screen protector on it as is until screens become available on etailers.
