I signed up for notifications on Passport updates and release info. I didn't get an update about the release of the product or the release event. Seems like a simple marketing tool failed to work. The result could be quite substantial for those who showed some interest in the product.

Anyone else have the same issue?

Didn't get anything until just a while ago... on any one of the emails I submitted.

I got an announcement email today however. They could have done a LOT more with this for sure; send an order form right in the email... a buy now button or something.

I signed up a while ago for a notification as well, NEVER received anything at all from Blackberry. I assumed they went under or just didn't want to sell me another Blackberry phone, so I went and bought one of those new fancy Crapple Bendy phones for over $800.00
Just kidding.. I still want a Passport, but two thumbs down on a poorly handled marketing attempt. Would have been better if they didnt even bother.

Yep, got my notice today..... I was expecting a notice before hand. BlackBerry's marketing Dept. needs a radical overhaul - judging by the lack of TV time ......
