On an all touch device you can swipe up or down to raise and lower the virtual keyboard. Is there and way to do this with the Passport's virtual keyboard? I frequently find times where it would be convenient.

When you're typing, slide your finger down from the top to the bottom of the physical keyboard in order to display the virtual keyboard of symbols. Slide down a second time to reveal the second page of symbols. Slide down a third time to hide it again.

Oh. Well, it will always be there if the cursor is out and the phone assumes that you're going to type something.
Remove the cursor (by touching the top frame) and the virtual KB also disappears. The phone is just being intuitive based on what app you're in and if you bring out the cursor.

I guess it's just wishful thinking. Sometimes I want the keyboard to go away, but there isn't a simple way to lower the keyboard (like a settings screen), and other times I want to raise it so I can type with numbers before a textbox is selected (like typing on the home screen to start a search).
