Would be sad to have BlackBerry saved by Android.
I love OS 10 so much I really want BlackBerry to keep developing new devices and OS

I strongly doubt that will happen. So far they would have been better off with another BB10 device. The passport out sold the Priv by a mile without initial US carrier support. Priv is just a smaller hit on R&D cost so the numbers may not hurt as bad as it looks but android is definitely not the solution. BB10 is being used as a scapegoat for the very obvious issues. In reality it's the only thing that kept Lackberry alive.

We've got to stop having these positive BlackBerry threads on Crackberry ... it will drive the Debbie Downers and Negative Nancys into a tizzy. Even though this is a BlackBerry fansite, positive posts are an anomaly and strongly discouraged. Hoping the usual armchair CEOs show up to set everyone straight.

I'm not sure where you got your facts from but the Priv sold 200,000 in the first three weeks. The passport did not! Sorry but your full of it!

Priv sales numbers have not been released but passport numbers have. We know that passport sold 200,000 in the first few days. Priv we know sold only enough to raise blackberries profit per device by $75 when combined with all other devices totalling 700,000 units. If 200,000 of these were privs they would have to making $502.5 per device. That's with remaining device ratio unchanged. The most realistic number would be somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 sold in 30 days
Keep in mind the Priv was sold on the 2nd largest US carrier as well as unlocked while the passport didn't get a single US carrier for months after release. In face the passport wasn't even a US launch

I have used iphones since the original iPhone and I just switched to the passport and it is t:e perfect fit to run my business full stop. Some of us don't need to be distracted by media app because the hours in the day are actully not enough to get all our business done. Had this BlackBerry for a month and absolutely would never consider going back to my iPhone by the way my 128gb 6s is sitting in my desk drawer collecting dust
