I got these 2 apps installed and working (a friend requested them for his Passport and I tested them).

Magicjack:
Download magicApp 4.8.788.1 APK File (magicapp.apk) - APK4Fun

Viber:
Download Viber 5.2.2.478 APK File (viber.apk) - APK4Fun

Looks like Magicjack is always running in the background. It gives periodic notifications that it's ready to dial. When you delete those, it gives you an option to stop the app, so that's good (hopefully that works without needing to use an App Killer).

let me ask with viber if the app is closed do you still get calls cause its hit or miss when its closed for me depending on the version

Just had a friend call me with the app closed as a test. It worked.
Only annoying thing is that the answer button to slide was mostly covered by the Android Action bar at the bottom. I might hide it.

What OS version are you running? A friend was looking to run Viber on his Passport but has not been successful.

I'm running the latest OS and the latest version of Viber from Snap with no issues whatsoever. Calling didn't work until now but it's on point now..

Just wanted to post that i loaded the viber apk and while for the most part it works when the app is open or minimized, it does not work when I exit the app. No notifications for calls or messages until I open the app again. Anyone know a workaround? Thanks.

Only the android version works. You can find blackerry version of viber on their web site. But only available for some blackerry device in some country and seems to be carrier related. Check it on http://www.viber.com/en/#blackberry
