but what a clever test case for Blend
Blend will not launch if it can't connect to the Passport; how did you use it then? I have both Blend on my desktop and a Passport and it does not work...
Wow!

I totally agree with aldebaran12, Blend needs to see a connection between your passport and the software to work! Otherwise, someone could just start up your Blend and have total access to your phone and all your information. Please explain you blend setup?

If blend could make and receive calls it would be killer

At least possibility to dial via Blend. At my work I usual use Bluetooth headset and that would make complete working with my phone without even touching it.

google voice? Have the callback to go to the phone?
Not sure that it's better but can they msg another person using blend on the desktop like this fellow did? Seem they can both locate the device and if the device is in a place that no one can hear it then sending a msg does no good but sending a msg to a friend who has access to finding it would be valuable. I like this idea. Besides if someone has your phone you can msg them all you want, usually they want to keep it.
