AT&T doesn't sell this model Passport in any color. They have their own unique model SQW100-3 (compared to the -1 model you have there). The difference is that it has a slightly more robust chin, rounded corners, and only comes in black.

Yes I realize at&t doesn't offer any color but black. My point was why don't they have these meaning the "passport" in the store so people can check them out in person.

I asked Att why they don't have them and was told "we don't sell enough to carry it. We only order small batches at a time ". But they have iPhones....lots and lots of iPhones....

At a large and new AT&T store recently, no Passport in sight (employee had not heard of a Passport when asked), and there was one Classic in the back among the flip phones. The huge iPhone and Samsung displays were front and center and left and right. The purchase probability with these two brands were probably at about 95%. No one was buying another brand unless they had their mind set already. And even if so, there was a decent chance minds could be changed with the surrounding displays at entrance.

It should be the opposite - display things that are more obscure. There are tons of Samsung's and iPhone's around, why do you even need to display them?

I was most shocked when I took my passport into Att to get the sin card changed over and no one knew anything at all about blackberry. They weren't even sure what kind of sim card it took.

One person had the nerve to tell me that sim card contacts couldn't be transferd over.

Just sad. I've always felt that cell phone companies are to blame for slowly killing blackberry.

The only chips I have on my device are the corners from when I dropped it. To be expected when you drop it.

Hey, that looks like mine. I love Big Red. I have had mine since February and it still looks brand new. Still turns heads and garners lots of comments. No chips, no scratches, no screen lifts, no twisting, no double typing, no problems.

I use the BlackBerry black hard case and it compliments Big Red very well.

Hope your wife enjoys her new Passport. And get yourself one too. You won't be disappointed.

I've had mine since January and don't have anything chipping off. This isn't BlackBerry's first coloured phone.
