What's the deal? I updated my OS on a brand new Passport and the lock screen camera quick launch icon disappeared. Is this a bug or a feature change? My updated Q10 still has it...

Try a hard reset to start.

Nah, multiple resets. Both normal and battery pull. Just checking, guess I'll try a reinstall.

Battery pulling on passport? You're not trolling are you?

My guess, OP just posted in the wrong place.

Holding the volume up and down buttons until reset simulates a battery pull. Not trolling.

Never mind, I've been thinking about a physical battery pull too (and another handset).
Maybe the reinstall will be the solution, as you stated.

IMHO, if that's what you meant, you should have elaborated, or said instead, "Do a hard reset by pressing and hold both of the volume buttons down." Or simply said, "Do a hard reset."

    Never mind, though.

    : ) maybe so

Still pretty weird that I don't have a camera button after the OTA update. Welp, this phone is getting returned due to hardware issues anyway. Probably just a bad update.

Good lesson to folk that the large OTA updates aren't infallible and should maybe do a full install from BlackBerry Link. This is my first real issue with an OTA os update though.
