As much as I love Tmobile for changing the mobile industry to be more consumer friendly with service and prices, someone seriously needs to give their ceo a time out after another childish comment. That or take away his twitter privileges.

See screenshot of his reply to a bloomberg report (I think the reporter works for bloomberg)

That's the Roger Chen, CNET editor. Chen was the one that had that interview with Legere in which he hinted at a possible reconciliation. That's a pretty lame move by Legere, for sure.... even if it was in jest.

John legere is only the puppet, he is playing his role to keep T-Mobile relevant and distract people on their lack of coverage out side of metro areas. CEOs dont really have that much power its the Board of Directors. For now screw him, I ordered a Passport and will try cricket for a month on the side and if I like it, will leave. Also he will never reply on tweets that are handset related.

I have been on T-Mobile USA for about eight years, I like their plans even though I don't like the fact that they not blackberry friendly, but as long as my BlackBerry keeps working on the network. I really could care less about the CEO.

Bakron1, have you had any troubles with TMo's LTE on your Passport?

I'm hearing not great things about AT&T, so I'm probably going to go with TMO when I get my PP from Amazon.

    Thanks!

Everything is working as it should and I am getting LTE on T Mobile and I am loving the passport. Sorry, but I don't know anyone using one on AT&T to get any feedback on.

It's all bluster on Legere's part. The Passport works flawlessly on his network including LTE coverage for me here in NYC

Funny to see how mad folks on here get. He's the most down-to-earth executive I've ever spoken to.

... seriously? I don't view him as professional, and could care less what any ceo thinks really, but he is kinda a joke.

In the end, the Board and investors are who he needs to make happy.

But there is a method to his madness, IMHO.

Yeah, it's different and does unconventional things to garner attention,... just like the Passport. He's trying to fight back two behemoths,.. just like BlackBerry. If only they could figure things out.

It seems users that had a z10 which uses a nano sim card had no issues with connecting to the lte network. Simply because they switched the card to the passport without any need for a provisioning request for a new sim. So essentially the network still thinks its a z10.

I am on the other end. I had a q10 (micro sim) got a new sim from att, activiated the Passport's IMEI and sim CCID. I couldn't even get data. After the 2nd att rep, they "activated a switch" so I can manually input the APN settings (before it would just show APN name as phone, greyed out). I can get 4G data now, but no LTE. I'm hoping once the branded att Passport is launched, unlocked Passports should be able to get on LTE. I tried to get someone to set up a dummy IMEI. I even said they could just use my q10. They just gave me the run around. Here's to hoping. lol

Tmobile, at least where I live in sacramento is unbeatable for $50 per month unlimited calls unlimited texting 1 gb data for a z10 and no barriers to tethering from z10 to playbook. And after 1 gb data it doesnt cut off but is just less speed but useable. . And no barriers to BlackBerry. But what did he say?
