Got one of these without ever seeing this thread, whoops! Anyway I think I'll make a trip to Home Depot and grab some smallish bumpers / pads to put on the stand to hold the Passport a little better. Good fit as it is, but the bumpers should make it smooth as can be.

I did some digging in my garage before running to Home Depot and came across some weather stripping I had gotten there a while back. While it wasn't an ideal color (brown) it worked perfectly! I just cut a small section off to fit on either side of the USB plug and it nicely fills the space and holds my device much more stable then without the 'padding'.

Here's a link to the same weather strip I used, but this one is black: (Couldn't justify going and buying a whole package of it just so it wasn't brown)

I'd think anything with a bit of compressibility that's around 1/4" - 5/16" in thickness would work for this, if you go hunting for stuff check the section where they have felt furniture pads.

Hopefully it's a big heavier than the one I originally bought. That's my only issue after a few weeks of use. You have to sort of hold down the cradle when you go to remove the Passport.
