    Basically that the rumor. And there's been patents filled (years ago or months) to support it.

    But anyone who would know first hand and could confirm are trapped by NDAs.

    It is used for swiping just like the Z devices. Only difference is that on the QWERTY devices, you have three word predictions on the screen. So the keyboard is divided into three parts. Each part can swipe one of those three words.

    Atleast, thats what I read some place.

    I hope we will be able to keep 'swipe left' to erase words, that a major keyboard feature for me.

    Speaking of which; I wouldn't mind if there were an exception to this function, so that a left swipe direcly following selection of a predicted word, would "undo" that selection and restore what half-typed word you had prior to selecting, rather than delete it all (I keep "expecting" predictions, rather than actually stopping to read them. :P)

    some say the keyboard is touch sensitive, a double tap and a cursor appears on the screen then you scroll using the capacitive keys,
    others say it's just a simple keyboard with world prediction on screen.
    Obviously, the first and more innovative hypothesis would be better as there are no symbols on the keys and it would be a hassle to have to go forth and back from the screen.
    Eager to see the Passport in action!
    The format by the way is plain what i was expecting for, at least a 4.5".
    Now a pre-order website would be great to buy it and have it delivered on day one!

    The keyboard is touch sensitive. It has swipe and flicking actions just like the Z's. Also the whole of the keyboard is the track pad
