The letters to the left from top to bottom, plus one over from top left. Not good.

Yep, you're going to have to be more specific that that if you want people to weigh in.

There have certainly been keyboard issues - with people complaining that the keyboard is unusable in very cold weather. That should be less of a problem now that the temps in the northern hemisphere are rising, but perhaps something else will pop up.

Are you saying that the keys are not registering keypresses? I may need more coffee, but you're not making much sense right now (possibly because your keyboard is not working properly).

And what's the problem exactly? My Passport's keyboard also has letters from left to right and top to bottom. Good thing, better than guessing which key is assigned to which letter!

Did you recently switch from the Q10? I had the same problem with mistypes too.

If this is just a joke thread, then I don't get it. Too high-brow for me!

ETA: I see now. Maybe it's a problem with the little contacts beneath the keyboard. Does the touch sensitivity work on those keys?

Reloading the software might fix it. Also, apparently there's a flicker fix with the latest OS which would be available through link. Kind of a hassle but better than sending it in and waiting weeks for a new one.

Exactly. Change your input language to QWERTY. It's probably set to AZERTY

My Passport decided to change to AZERTY on its own this morning, I was quite puzzled by this... and also quite aggravated since one of my password letter was affected! But thanks to some of this post's answers I was able to fix the issue rapidly. BTW not everything needs a complete wipe and OS reload...
