Is the Passport backlight brightness supposed to be less bright than the Q10, 9900 etc? It seems that its a softer white light than the bright white light of earlier devices. Mine is not uneven like has been reported by other users so I assume mine meets the standard.

So the backlight on your Passport is okay and you don't actually have an issue with it, correct?

It's not bright white like on the Q10 but maybe that's normal.

I don't find it bright either, and I like it. Just like the screen in the dark, we don't like the keyboard backlight to be bright as well. Just enough to see the keys well and comfortable to the eyes of the user and the people who can see your passport in the dark. Not something like a "flashlight" from a distance, that I think cheap phones have.

I think the brightness of the keyboard is perfect. If I could change it all, I'd simply add an option to turn it off completely.
