I'm trying to get a new one for a great price since my current one is on the fritz. If I find a Silver Edition, I'm on it for the right price. My ebay funds are usually always tied up in funding the business so I've learned to wait for things lol

I have both... you're lucky they gave you a new Classic.

I think the Classic and SE Passport are like the best combination.

I prefer the Classic over the Passport except one thing, the screen.

Everything else, in my opinion is better on the classic. One handed operation and that track pad make it a better option than the Passport. Plus since I'm on TMO US, it's the only BlackBerry besides the Priv that gets Wi-Fi calling without workarounds.

Again this is only my opinion. Don't mean to offend those that use the Passport as a daily driver.

OK, thanks for all the advice! My Passport finally arrived--it was supposed to come Wednesday, then FedEx "somehow misplaced it", after 2 days of many many irate calls, they told me to 'file a case with Blackberry'.Which of course I knew would be loads of fun. It somehow 'miraculously appeared' yesterday after no updated or a trace of where it was. Hmmm. ANYWAY, I have it in my hot little hands and I just love it--love it. So now please forgive my ignorance; why would you switch back and forth? Some of you answered, though wouldn't you want to take the beautiful Passport out to remind folks what they're missing from BB?

I had both but ended up keeping the Passport. I think it was a mistake. The Passport basically cannot be used one handed and doesn't fit in a pants pocket without looking like a pop tart. It does have the track pad keyboard. If I only had one phone I'd definitely keep the Passport. With two? Classic hands down.

I have the Classic and just got a SE. For me personally, the Passport SE is in an entirely category. I'll keep them both but the SE is my perfect phone so far.

I use both. My Classic is my Monday to Friday phone and my Passport SE is my weekend phone. I work for an engineering firm and supervise outside construction. Even though I love my SE, it is easier for me to keep my Classic in my pocket and I don't have to worry about marking up my SE.
