I just put thru an order for a passport. I'm looking forward to having a keyboard again for my 100+ emails per day after a few years with a z10.

And I never used to be a "must have a new phone" guy. If I'm any indicator of the market, this might be a turning point for BB.

I went through my employer. I don't know when to expect shipment yet.

    Delivered today.

So far in the first 15m of usage it is very different than z10 and very different from my bb9900.

Will collect my thoughts and provide more info later.

It will take a couple days to get used to it but the time spent is well worth it! Amazing device!

So weird I light touch the keyboard forgetting how to depress physical keys.... doesn't help I'm switching back and forth with z10.

Also I didn't think I was going to get used to the period (.) being a soft key and north of the keyboard instead of next to the space bar. Nor the shift key way up there. But I'm already getting used to it.

I wouldn't mind a software hack like double tap the keyboard track pad for a period. (we use those so often!!!!)

I thought my z10 was pretty fast... but this passport is simply zero lag. I'm installing app after app via snap and it's so fast it's basically real time. Flick flick tap zoom.
