    One bit of news: no hard shell or spare charger. So maybe the VIP orders DO get the extras after all?

    Also: Canada-specific packaging explains why the Canada/USA stock had to remain separate at Digital River.

    Other stuff: amazing build quality. Great look -- the keyboard is stunning. The processor is powerful, and Spotify flies.

    I may be late to the party, but when did Blackberry Maps become as good as Google Maps at predictive search? I type in a restaurant name, its address pops up right then.

    I didn't care so much for my office Z30 -- it felt bulky. I'm an iPhone guy -- great design speaks to me. I wanted to like Blackberry products (I'm Canadian!), but they seemed not quite to get there in the end.

    The Passport gets there. It blows the other phones out of the way, including my iPhone 6.

    I still plan to carry both. I just expected my Passport to be the one I use less. That will end up not being the case.

    Congrats! Yeah my Passport is my daily driver... iPhone 5 rarely use now ... same with z30....

    Sold my Z30, and the Passport's my daily driver now. I still have an iPhone 5 for the times when I need the apps though.
