It's very stable. Also it comes with a gel square bad that you can stick at the bottom of the dock for extra security..its a reusable one.

Does it have enough weight to allow you to lift the Passport up without having to hold down the dock?

Okay so when you slide the passport in..its very sturdy..so if you want to pull the passport out of the charging dock..you have to hold the dock and then pull it out. It has weight but not enough weight for you to pull it out without holding the charging dock.

Now on the other hand..the dock comes with a square gel pad that you can put behind the dock to keep it stuck to the surface..this might help in that regard..i haven't used it as yet though.

Yeah, that's what I experienced with another Kidigi dock. Not a deal breaker, but maybe tape a lead weight to it or something,.. lol

Thanks... regarding the weight even when heavier could be good as you are removing the phone, also could be less practical when you carry it around... so I guess the best option is to keep it light and use double-face tape...

Are you able to use it with the hard case on the phone? From the website pics it looks like it has one on but just wondering if you have tried it.

Even if it was, the micro USB port wouldn't really hold the phone in place (unless you accelerate and turn really slowly).

Did they send you the KLCC-TAB or the LCC-TAB? I ask because another guy on here (http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...l#post11082616) bought that same one and was sent the LCC-TAB (designed for the samsung galaxy) NOT the KLCC-TAB (similar one but with insert for the Passport). Thanks.
