Congratulations... it's the pinnacle of BB10 development.

Passport is cheap enough that the ending of BB10 shouldn't be an issue for those aware of what's coming.

At this point, it’s a matter of what you can still find out there. I think one case I had was an Incipio.

Not enough to ever come remotely close to replacing BIS monthly revenues with BBOS hardware.

They Should have included BIS with BB10 or Gave users the option.

The carriers wouldn’t support it. The carriers have to share the revenue with BB and BIS uses less data because of how it’s designed. The carriers want to increase data usage. BB and BIS was everything that nobody wanted anymore.

I have the Ringke Fusion clear case for my BB Passport Red Edition and can honestly say it's the best damn case I've ever had outside of an Otterbox Defender series for whatever phone. Keeps my Red Edition fully visible and sexy, and offers full protection from all angles.

I've dropped my Passport Red in every which direction up to a 5-foot drop, and the Ringke Fusion has protected it from every fall. Amazing coverage.

And congratulations on your Passport. It's the king of smartphones and reigns supreme!

I am using >this< on my three. And they're holding up pretty good. Nice and sturdy. I like these transparent cases b'coz the beauty of this wonderful phone remains visible all around.

Maybe... or maybe BIS was a bottle neck and BlackBerry knew they could never handle all the traffic that users today are burning through.

The data farms they would have needed to expand, the bandwidth they wold have had to pay for. BIS on BB10 would have been way too costly for BlackBerry as data usages was changing from a few MB per users to several GB per user. I expect that those montly fees would have needed to go up to cover the extra costs associated with the trend to use more data. And BlackBerry knew they'd never be able to compete if their phones were slower and cost more to operate on a montly basis.

Besides most traffic today is already optimized... the little BIS could shave off of emails and documents is nothing compared to most of the content today.
