I was a long time berry user from way back in the 7250 days. Used to always have a BB. Strayed away after the 9900 and have been using either an iphone or android since. Well, that beast of a phone called Passport is calling me back to BB. Theres a local seller here with an unlocked Passport that he'd sell me for $320. I've been checking all the threads and what people are saying about the problems they have run into with theirs.Is it worth buying one now? I don't have lots of apps I actually use on my iphone 6+. Main ones are FB, Instagram, messaging, email and YouTube.

For that price, either DO IT or send me the link!! I'm on my 2nd Passport. Had the original version & now using the AT&T variant. Both are wonderful, but I prefer the original design.

You won't regret it.

Try a different charger and a different outlet. Clearly somethings wrong.

I'm Used all iPhone models Past 9 years (iPhone2 up to iPhone6) and I'm use BlackBerry Passport now.

Because Apple quality! is down. I'm bored ios and battery charging .

Now im happy with my passport

Got it!! Problem is the Security Wipe is taking forever! The seller started the wipe at 3:30 it's 11:30 now and it's at 95%.

YAY!!!!!! You will love it!!!! And if it's your first bb10 device please be patient and stick w/ it to get use to it.

As far as FB I use the app. I get notifications and such. It works like any other FB best I can tell.

Here's my take on it: Install BlackBerry Link on your computer, connect your Passport via USB and reload the firmware. I had it once actually that a security wipe kinda messed up the software and reloading it solved it.
If the phone still charges extremely slow, try a different charger first. Keep in mind the Passport has a pretty large 3450mAH battery, so traditional chargers need a couple of hours to bring it back to 100% from a low percentage rate.

BBOS10 is the best social media OS there is there thanks to the hub and virtual keyboard / qwerty keyboard.

You wanted a eco system with it's perk and that is not compatible with other device than there self - buy an iphone

Get it! I got mine and have to say compared with other smart phones... you will not regret it!
This is as beast as you hear about it. The problems you read here are either self-created or inexperience of users!

Go for it! That's a great price.

Hey good to hear that you got it working! Charging is relatively quick though. Give the battery a day or two to settle down. Enjoy your Passport Cheers!

It pretty much depends on the charger you use, but the Playbook charger for example gets the battery full pretty quick, yet I stopped using it because my Passport got pretty hot during the process. Luckily the battery lasts long enough so I just do slow overnight charges.
