When I leave my Passport charging via USB port on my PC, the next day I never see 100% on the Device Monitor graphic and get this flat line affect:

Never seems to happen with the actual wall charger. Any thoughts?

Could it be that the laptop isn't powerful enough to charge your Passport completely?

My HP elitebook powers the passport just fine, it doesn't flatline at 75% it charges to 100%

It's either the usb isn't powerful enough or maybe the computer goes into standby and stops the charging.

But if you look at the graph, it hasn't dropped for the past 6+ hrs. How can an incomplete charge to 75% have any effect on the consumption rate?
Seems to me the graph hasn't been calibrated properly and is no longer showing true state of the battery level.

I have seen this as well. I am on a MacBook Pro Late 2013 so the USB has enough power. But I think this happen if you unplug before the PP got fully charged. Too be proven though.
