I tried using Link and Blend with my Passport but with Link it says not communicating but connected. With Blend "anti Virus or other program is preventing connection".
I disabled the anti virus but same errors.
The communication issue with Link also existed with my Z10 & Z30 previously as well.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Delete blend and link and start over with new file from blackberry site. Make sure you allow all firewall exceptions and make sure you click which network to allow it to work on. I had trouble with public network so maybe use local....
Windows 8.1. I also checked the device manager and adapters and it says that a driver is missing but when I update the drivers it says that I have the latest available. Been on the phone for hours with BlackBerry tech support and even they have not found a solution yet. As it is I can't do a back up and restore or use link or blend at all.
Blend won't work with anything other that the BlackBerry Passport or Porsche design p9983 until 10.3.0 or higher is officially released for other models (not even a 10.3+ leak.
It works fine on my windows 7 computer but the 8.1 is my primary computer and I need it working on that one. I spent at least 8 hours over 1 week with BlackBerry support and they said that they don't have a fix. The want to close the ticket and told me to contact my provider after the 1 month free support. My response? Hello no. Whenever I try contacting Rogers for support or sales they try to convince me to switch from BlackBerry. That's why I got the passport from shop BlackBerry.
Anyway, I will ensure that this ticket remains open until the issue is resolved. I will try re installing again..
