Trying in vain to connect my Passport to my laptop today. Link won't recognize the device, Windows Explorer doesn't recognize it as a drive, and Blend doesn't find the device. WTH? So I unplug it, and immediately Blend recognizes it. For the life of me, I can't get it to recognize when connected via USB.

    Any thoughts?

You may want to try manually downloading the driver for your device from BlackBerry. I found that this help me have my device recognized and usable through my computer.

Well...reboot seems to have solved the problem for whatever reason. Thanks all.

Change your cables. It that doesn't work than it could be the ports on your devices. If there is significant play in the cable connection to the phone, it could be that the jack solder joints are cracked.

Try setting your USB to treat your media card as a hard disk and then plug in. Try more than one cable and one computer to isolate.

On your device, go to settings>storage and access>acess using usb>enable mass storage mode.

Sometimes the phone needs a little... convincing. *cracks knuckles*
