I have noticed, when using the passport in a dimly lit area, that you can see what looks to be an IR sensor on to the left of the Blackberry logo. Assuming this is proximity sensor for when you are using the 'phone'. Not sure why it working when phone app not in use.

I have also noticed that sometimes I can close an app without touching the screen or the odd gesture will happen without actually touching the screen.

Could it be this sensor is interfering with the touch and causing the screen lag being experienced from time to time?

Or maybe there is a better explanation for the above. Not sure why gestures are happening without actually touching the screen, never had this on Z10

Can you maybe take a video of this so we can understand better what you're talking about?
